If you’re looking for a novel gift, or just something as unique as your new baby girl, here it is! These pink hand knit baby ice skates will make that precious little one a star. The skates have hand knit uppers, and black felt soles. The ice skate blades are gray felt. Both felts are two layers, bonded together with fusible pellon to give it shape, but not be too stiff.
Here is a picture of the baby bootie ice skates where you can see the detail in the sole and blades. The knit uppers are attached to the felt sole using the same yarn as the uppers. This creates a nice detail on the sole, framing the blades.
These booties should be hand washed, reshaped and air dried. They are just the right size for a newborn to 3 or 4 month old baby. They would make a terrific shower gift, too!
